Kisangani or Beni?
I can safely say that Beni is better than Kisangani. How? See the pictures and find out yourself.

Touch down
Finally I was there on 9th of August. And beechcraft was specially sent to drop me there. Can you believe it?
What a change?
This is what you call change. The conventional cycle Tolika's of Kisangani are replaced by Motorcycle Tolikas here and the ride is a great fun. They are cheaper and much faster. Only 50 francs for a ride around the city. Come and try it...
A wedding celebration
The first day I saw this wedding celebration. The groom is on his way to the bride's home with the car decorated with baloons. The wipers are on and the ballons are dancing :) A great scene to watch.
Home sweet home
So this is the place where will live. Nice, isnt it? My french and cooking both have improved a lot at Beni.
Physical fitness
Well the young lot is equally conscious about their health. They were always together when I went for jogging.
Foot patrolling
I'm not very fond of patrolling in the car. On sundays its better to move out on foot an scale a nearby mountain. Its great fun and lots of knowledge.
Beni International Airport
In the eastern semi-mountainuous belt of DRC, Beni has comparatively a longer airfield. The runway has a unique dip exactly in the centre shapping it like a trough. Beautiful weather on a bright monday morning. There are 7 aircraft permanently stationed at Beni with regular flights to Kampala, Goma,Isiro,Gbadolite, Buta and Kinshasa; this is really an international airport.
